We had a great time filming #Blink Episode 5, a JReep film workshop production.

It is so rewarding to see people who started this project nervous and a bit low in self-confidence now showing much confidence and self-belief. Watching from behind the camera, I am filled with so many emotions seeing both kids and adults grow into their dreams.

You are welcome to try out our workshops. If you ever wanted to be in a short film, then go for it. Develop your showreel, grow in confidence, make new friends, find a new challenge and most of all, just live life to the max. Time does not wait for anyone.

Today I want to take time out to talk about two amazing ladies Janet Laca and Toh Beranamo.

Today I want to take time out to talk about two amazing ladies Janet Laca and Toh Beranamo, who’ve decided to face their fears and take up the challenge of putting together the June 4th #pacifrica event. Share this post if you feel the same way I do about them.I have come to know these amazing ladies for years seeing them always helping others in every way they can. I see them backstage working, stressing, and crying. Yes, crying.

I remember Janet Laca crying backstage because she deeply wanted everything to work well, for everyone to be satisfied. It was one emotional day. Nevertheless, those tears have now made her stronger and more confident to be able to face her fears to have her own show. Come on girl.I can still remember the first day Toh Beranamo Beranamo came to support our charity, it still feels like yesterday. When things were tough for us all, she stood by us and more.

I love friends who stand by you when the going is tough. Toh, it is your love for helping others that is opening a way for you today. Keep going.I must say this, however, it is never easy to start. You cannot please everyone. When you start, those that can’t start and only just dream will hate you and do and say things to hurt you. However, you just need to stay focused on what God has called you to do. Keep focused. You are not perfect; you will mess up. It’s ok to mess up. One small step at a time, we all will finally get there.

Looking forward to seeing you all at the event on Saturday. Let’s all come out this weekend to support these amazing two wonderful ladies. I believe in both of you, so keep going. No matter what happens on Saturday, it is already a success. You did it. You made it happen. I am so proud of you two and value our friendship.

    Dare to dream.

    God bless us all.

    From Ronnie Jacobs.

Six things that people who try to be Mentally strong

As we countdown to #ChabsLondon, here are six things that people who try to be mentally strong do. So, let’s start building ourselves from within, together.

    • They move on, not wasting time feeling sorry for themselves.
    • They welcome change and love challenges.
    • They stay happy not wasting time and energy on things they can not control.
    • They are kind to people and never afraid to speak up.
    • They are open to taking a calculated risk on time, not procrastinating.
    • They love helping others and celebrate when other people are successful.

Every day is a blessing and a gift. Just try to get through each day smiling and showing love to one another. Nobody is perfect, we are all trying our best to be the best that we can be. So, let’s work on our mindset.

    Love you always.

    Ronnie Jacobs.

    Save these dates.

Chabs London October 22nd, 2022. CCA Awards Night on December 10th and Chabs Philippines in April 2023. (During school holidays).

  • Today we begin the countdown to Chabs London. 150 days to go! More committed and prepared for our biggest charity challenge ever

Today we begin the countdown to Chabs London. 150 days to go! More committed and prepared for our biggest charity challenge ever

Every event we do must be better than the previous one. Every time we get together, we must be making a difference. The more we challenge ourselves as people the more we grow. The more barriers we overcome the further we grow. Embrace challenges and obstacles.

If you remember, we had this great dream of going to Dubai and Milan in 2022. However, due to many challenges beyond our control, we could not make it. Consequently, this disappointment is supposed to break us, or further discourage us from hosting any further international events. However, we feel more motivated than ever. It is the disappointments we face in life that shape us. Together, there is nothing we cannot do.

The amazing Chabs family are already planning Philippines 2023 for the April school holiday. We will publish the exact dates next month so keep your diaries open. If we can’t dream, then we don’t have anything else to live for. This is the only life we have therefore, we must live it. Please give it everything. Don’t allow others to influence you negatively.

You may think that others are living a better life than you are, however, you may just be surprised. One thing I must say to you, please, stop getting into arguments about nothing. Don’t spend all your time speaking poorly about others. Remember, whatever you make happen for others, God makes happen to you also. Share love always.

God bless you my loving family. Continue to show love to one another. The Philippines, here we come.

We had a great time filming ‘Blink’ episode 4

I just really need to say this about the filming workshop last night.

Ronnie Jacobs: I just have to say this. Three key things happened at the film workshop yesterday, that I must talk about.

Firstly, someone paid to attend the workshop, but for the fear of failing, was drawn not to turn up. She eventually arrived, still short of confidence, she tried to explain to me why she may not be able to deliver, not wanting to let me down. In the end, I was so proud to see how she was encouraged by everyone.

Consequently, giving the best performance of her life. I am so proud of you dear. Our obstacles are our fears, pushing ourselves outside our boundaries is the hardest thing we can ever do. When we cross that barrier, there is nothing that we can not achieve.

Secondly, three young ladies just blew my mind. Amazingly, I just stood there smiling, watching and listening to them learning and delivering with so much fun and passion. I wish I had these opportunities when I was younger. Please, parents, encourage your kids and let them be what they want to be. The world is filled with sad people who were pushed to do what they never really loved.

And finally, I must just have to say this. The final scene was about a little boy kidnapped and locked up in a dark, filthy garage. When I first saw Buchi, I knew he had a gift, however, last night he brought tears to my eyes. He came alive at the sound of the camera. The contrast between his 1st appearance in front of the camera a few years ago and now is just mind-blowing. The emotions he showed, the reality of his acting and the ease of delivery, wao.

We started this journey out of passion and love for our dreams. JReep is growing as a film production company and the casts are growing in their dreams. Never allow anyone to tell you that your dream is a waste of time. We all make mistakes and grow from them. Please, dare to dream always.

I love you and see you all at the next film workshop. You can join this dream at www.jreep.co.uk anyone is welcome, beginners or experienced.
